Let’s share a cup of coffee. ☕

Hello! I am David, a software engineer currently based in Mullingar, Ireland. My indie games developer alias is Daithy, which is derived from my Irish name.
I’m employed at WP Engine where I collaborate with teams daily and seek to improve my programming skills in building a variety of backend solutions.
I graduated from Institute of Technology, Sligo with First-class BSc. in Computing in Games Development.
I learned that my passion truly lies in programming when I began modding video games at a young age. I take a lot of joy in discovering new technologies and keeping up to date with software industry trends.
In my free time I like to develop personal projects, draw digital artwork and participate in game jams.
A lot of my personal work features characters of an anthropomorphic design that have been inspired by animated movies and cartoons.
I like raccoons. 🦝
